There is no doubt we made a concerted effort to make the year more about experiences as opposed to possessions and in that regard we did quite a bit.

Our year of experiences included the following:

Long-Time Listener, First-Time Caller: My Dad 2.0 2016 Summit Recap

Ansel Adams “Eloquent Light” at Reynolda Illuminates Adults & Teens Alike

Weekend In Hilton Head and Parris Island with Our New Marine + Top Family Things to Do

A Summer Vacation Interrupted: Orlando, Melbourne

Triad Highland Games 2016: Good Food, Entertainment, Add Up to Fun

Purgatory Mountain Asheboro, NC – Hiking Trail at NC Zoo

Medaloni Cellars Lewisville, NC Meetup

We also undertook a better way of eating dubbed “Cleaner Eating“.

On this blog, I did some new things, too. First, I upgraded the look and feel.
I also spent some time diving into Dad/Family topics.

Then, added some new/different post types to gauge your response and interest.

I even carved some time out to post some videos to my often ignored YouTube channel.

There were also a number of sponsored content posts. This was a new effort for me this year and kicked off with Fish Are Food, Not Friends: Family Fun Night with Swedish Fish & WalMart Family Mobile

I also published my first book New “Mastering Google Keep” Book, Helps You Learn Google Keep, Get Productive & Organized

All and all a good year for the Digital Dad. Hope you have a happy and prosperous New Year.
