Houston family, friends, and contacts, I’ve just been made aware of a fantastic opportunity! If you love to cook and would like to watch Rick Bayless up close this is your chance. I wish I still lived in Houston, I’d sign up for this in a heartbeat!
Macy’s, as part of its Culinary Council, is bringing Rick Bayless to the Macy’s at The Woodlands on Saturday, March 19th for a cooking demo.
A Little About How I Discovered Rick Bayless & Mexican Cooking
I came to know Chef Rick Bayless through his Public Television Series, Mexico– One Plate at a Time. As I grew up a “gringo” up North, I learned a lot from his show and love his recipes and personable style. My wife is most responsible for the Mexican influence in our cooking. Growing up outside Houston, she came in contact with a wide variety of family recipes and restaurants. Combining her background and Rick’s recipes has resulted in some tasty dishes for our family.
If you have the time on Saturday, check out Chef Rick. He’s going to be great!
