The Digital Daughter recently had her ballet recital, and to mark the occasion we took photos. Like many parents we shared the pictures on Facebook. I was so blown away by the positive reaction to one picture that I thought this photo might be worth printing. {gasp} Digital Dad printing a photo? No way.
I remembered the Walgreen’s app on my smartphone had a way to print to store. So, I started down the path of printing the picture like I had many times before. But, with a recent upgrade to the app a new option, Facebook PrintWorthy™ ,was available and I was curious. So, I dove in. And who could pass up a 5″ x 7″ print of their kid anyway?
After authorizing the app to access my Facebook account and photos I was served up a selection screen.
Go through a few more easy selection and order screens. And then, place your order. Ready to be picked up the next day.
Here’s a sneak peek at what the finished product will look like.
So have you tried the Walgreen’s PrintWorthy photo printing service? What do you think? Let me know in the comments below.
