Astronauts and Big Bird Made Discoveries Today

In memory of the Apollo’s first lunar mission (July 20, 1969) Google has posted images of the moon using their Map interface.

As I was doing some other reading today, I stumbled across another development which was occuring here on Earth on this day. It turns out that the development of our beloved Sesame Street was about to take a fascinating turn.

Congrats to the astronauts, Big Bird and company (to paraphrase) for going where no one had gone before.
