In my original post here. I stated a position against the I.N.S. for actions taken against my soon to be sister-in-law. In this update to the o.p. I’ll let you know that I made that post without all of the facts known to me at that time. It turns out that my soon to be sister-in-law had a visa that was several years expired.Shame on her!
I will note that she did get out (and flew back to her home country immediately) with some maneuvering from my father-in-law and her parents back home.
