Bush is Ahead…in the e-mail newsletter race as well.

In this article from NielsenBush vs. Kerry: Email Newsletters Rated (Jakob Nielsen’s Alertbox). Where we learn that Bush is ahead (50% vs. 18%) where it really matters… in the content for the metric “Positive campaiging”.

Seems that Bush and his staff put a higher value on promoting “party’s own candidate and proposals”. Looks like Kerry and staff are more interested in raising campaign funds: “Kerry in particular risked both donor fatigue and unsubscribes by sending out two fundraising emails in a single day (August 31).”
